Hunter Encounters With Bigfoot — First-Person Fiction

These are works of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events or persons is coincidental.

They weren't looking for Bigfoot. They were hunting. Then everything changed.

These are original works of fiction. The author discloses this clearly — inspired by Bigfoot lore and first-person storytelling traditions, not real events.

Deep in the woods, sitting in a tree stand or tracking through brush — hunters spend more time in Bigfoot territory than almost anyone. These are their stories, in their own voice.

“GONE IN A FLASH”

— Roland — Wooded Area

A hunter had a Sasquatch perfectly in his rifle scope — and chose not to pull the trigger.

“I was out hunting one day, sitting in my tree stand, patiently waiting for a deer. I had been there for a couple of hours when I heard a noise—something moving through the trees.

I grabbed my rifle and looked through the scope, scanning the woods for a deer. I didn't see one. Instead, I saw something else.

I saw a Sasquatch.”
